Cellular Routers: are devices which include a cellular device to connect to the network and a router which allows you to connect many devices to it all bundled into one device. Routers typically run off of 12 volts but usually include a wall adapter to be able to connect it to 110 volt wall power. Routers are best suited for installations into vehicles and for home use and on the average have more connectivity power than hotspots do, in addition most routers include antenna ports which allow the user to connect different types of antenna directly to the device enabling even greater connectivity in scenarios where the user is located far from the cellular site.

Modems: Unlike routers modems do not have WIFI enabled allowing multiple devices to be connected to it at once, modems still contain a cellular chip so they can be connected to the cellular network but to install a modem it needs to be connected to your existing home or mobile "standard" router to distribute the cellular data to various devices.

Hotspots: Hotspots are essentially just like a router but the main difference is that a hotspot can also run disconnected from wall power since it contains an internal battery which it uses to give you hours of usage. Things you want to look out for if you plan on using a hotspots is that they typically do not have the ability to allow as many users to log onto them simultaneously like a router would and also they typically do not have external antenna ports to enable you to expand the range of the device.

As a policy we do not guarantee any equipment not listed on our recommended equipment page.

We rely on customer feedback of what works to create an equipment list for all of our customers that work and have different price points to help cover different budgeting needs.

In addition if you decide to use a device not listed on our equipment page you may not be eligible for a refund within the terms of the refund policy.

Any equipment which has been purchased directly from a major provider and has not been unlocked.
The Netgear Nighthawk is not compatible with the PINK plan. Pepwave is not recommended.

RV-4G does not offer, disclose, or guarantee minimum speeds. Plans may have speed limits imposed by the network provider. All plans are provided on an AS IS basis and throughput speeds are not guaranteed.

Speeds are based on 3 factors:

Equipment: With equipment your speeds are only going to be as good as equipment capability.

Location: Your location provides the signal that your equipment has to work with. If you are in a location with poor signal strength then that is going to be reflected in your speeds as well.

Network Traffic: Heavy traffic can create congestion. Congestion during peak hour can cause slower speeds as usage of the tower will be prioritized by the provider.

Please check the coverage map to see if coverage is available in your area.

Our service is not a replacement for high-speed cable based home internet you would find using cable companies. Our services use mobile towers with all the limitations therein. It is meant to provide internet for people who are traveling with limited options for the internet at an affordable rate. On the other hand if you do not have access to alternatives such as satellite, DSL, cable, or fiber then cellular internet may be a good fit to use in your home.

We can offer some technical support, mostly tips and tricks to help. For more advanced technical support contacting the device manufacturer may be needed. We are a small business and are not equipped to provide full technical support.

There is a contact us link on the main menu. We have options for contacting us. Customer service tickets and technical support tickets are answered daily during business hours. Phone calls are done by schedule only. All of our options are during business hours. Business hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM EST.

The correct APN regardless of the device you decide to use is either fast.t-mobile.com or b2b.static
If you are experiencing issues setting up your device initially then you will want to try both APN settings one after the other after power cycling your device (power reset).
